Ally Marshall isn’t just a wolf shifter — she’s a Seer.
But a girl doesn’t exactly need special powers to know that Derren Hudson despises her entire kind. Disdain practically rolls off the Beta of the Mercury Pack . . . disdain mixed with a healthy dose of desire. And no matter how much the ruggedly handsome male appeals to her, this is one call of the wild she’s determined to ignore.
After one betrayal too many, Derren doesn’t have much use for Seers — except for Ally.
Forced into acting as her protector, he finds himself intensely and passionately drawn to the woman who incites his primal instinct to claim.
And when enemies target the pack, Ally’s gift may be just what the Mercury Pack needs.
Can he put his distrust aside, or will he force himself to turn his back on the one woman who makes his inner beast howl?

[MY THOUGHTS]
5 out of 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I see why some of the reviewers suggest reading the Phoenix Pack series first. A lot of the characters from that series are involved in Spiral of Need.
Have I read Suzanne Wright's prior series? I have not, but I WILL SOON!
Ally is an amazing, bad-ass woman. She is not only a shifter, but she is also a Seer. When her boyfriend finds a mate, she understands that they need to break up.
Unfortunately, his jealous mate creates a web of lies, and the best thing Ally can do is to leave her pack.
Even though Derren hates Seers, he takes Ally away from her previous pack when a friend needs a favor. As he gets closer to Ally, he eventually accepts that not all Seers are evil. He and his wolf love how Ally is always healing his pack without strings attached. They can't resist her. My ovaries basically disappeared because of the hot love making.
"I want to see my cock in you. Want to watch it moving in and out. Taking you."
So much goes on in the story! The Mercury pack is getting attacked by some mysterious person, and Ally continuously gets harassed by her ex-boyfriend's mate.
There are enemies everywhere. And when Ally fights, she is intense and gives it her all.
I can't wait to read more!
